Today he found a new spin on an old game. He plays 'hide the ear plug' ...
... I am not the only one in the house that appreciates a room with a door. The difference is in the way we both look at a closed door.
P.S. I sure need to get some painting done around here ... (at least before we have a close up shot of one of the many ways that I have let our home fall into this state of neglect)
Your cat is pretty funny. What is it with that ear plug that he finds amusing to hunt and play with it? Just make sure he won’t swallow it. Freeman @ EarPeace.com
ReplyDeleteOur other cat really doesn't get what the big deal is all about with the ear plugs. Though he has tried to join in on the fun and we have ended up finding 'partial' ear plugs around the house. So far, so good ... we always find the missing half in the litter box within a day and a half.
DeleteHere is a video (at the end) of our young cat trying to teach our older cat How To Play With Ear Plugs: http://colleen-lifeasiknowit.blogspot.ca/2013/09/shades-of-blue.html
Omg, up until I spoke with a coworker about it today I thought I was the only one in the planet with a cat who hunts earplugs! This is too funny!
ReplyDeleteMy cat Minnie (definitely an ironic name in her case as Tiny is for a very large man. lol) hunts earplugs and walks around our house with them in her mouth, howling. I'm really not quite sure what the howing means but I always know she's found one, no matter where in the house I am. lol
Nice to hear from a fellow Cat-Earplug-Lover! I can picture your cat proudly walking around with her earplug in her mouth. Our cat does the same (I think it looks very good against his black coat of fur).
Deletei dont know why my cat loves this too. i dont get it at all. i keep it in my nightstand, near makeup things, and she knocks them down..she knows where it is even when i dont..i kept some in a box a long time ago, it was closed, she knows its in there. how??:/
